Spring Dates To Remember
May 5th - Final plant date for Oats, Barley, Wheat
May 25th - Final plant date for Grain Sorghum - Final plant date for Corn - grain (in Lake and Moody)
May 31st - Final plant date for Corn - grain (in southeastern counties) - Final plant date for Alfalfa Seeding
You may continue planting after the final date with 1% reduction in coverage per day for the next 25 days.
Prevent plant claims are not eligible until after the final plant date. PP Claims must be reported within 72 hours
of final plant date, or the day you stop planting.
Upon inspection you must have 20 acres or 20% by unit that is wet on the final plant date or the date you stop planting
in order to qualify for prevent plant.
