Replant Claims

- Notify "MBA" before replanting
- Need 20 acres or 20% of unit
- Must be due to an insured peril
- Original crop planted after initial plant date

Replants on a MPCI Policy
- Landlord can sign over payment to tenant on a replant if insred with the same company and same type of policy. If the landlord has a lower level
of coverage then the tenant would only receive the amount that the landlord wold have received. Landlord can only collect replant payments if he
participated in original planting.

Replants on a CRC - RA Policy
- Replant payments can only be paid under individual policy. Insured can only be paid for the % of interest on his policy. Landlord must be able to
show that he participated in original planting to receive replant payment on his policy.

- Amount of payment on replant would be the LESSOR of 20% of the coverage on corn = 8 bu. x price and soybeans = 3 bu. x price. If replant payment
is over $20, you will need copies of seed tickets.

Crop Hail Replants

- No replants on hail policy for corn or small grains!!!
- Replants only pay on corn, soybeans or dry beans
- Replants must be due to hail damage
- All HAIL CLAIMS must be reported within 10 days
- The replant payment on soybeans would be the LESSOR of actual cost or 20% of coverage on those acres
- Copies of seed tickets are required on a crop hail policy
- No minimum number of acres apply for a replant on crop hail

Prevent Plant Claims

- You now have only 72 hours to file a prevent plant claim after the final plant date or from the time you make the decision to no longer plant during
the late planting period. (No Exceptions)
- If insured failed to plant when other producers in the area are planting - PP claim will be denied.
* Once the acreage report has been submitted to the company the acres can not be revised
- Need 20 acres or 20% of unit
- Must have PP elgibility available
- Must have worked the ground in past 2 years
- Policy includes 60% of your guarantee for prevent plant payment. You must have the prevent plant buy-up option to receive more than 60%.

- Prevent plant acres, once prevent plant acres are submitted to RMA, they cannot be changed even if the report is done before June 30th.

Please refer to the "first insured crop and second crop option chart!!! Putting a cover crop on prevent plant acres may affect your payment and your "APH". Please contact "MBA" to review the PP guidelines before planting a cover crop. Tenants & Landlord must make the same choice when it comes to the insuring or not insuring the 2nd crop.
